Do-it-yourself Portrait Background

A chaotic, distracting background is one of the many things that distinguishes an amateur snapshot originating from a professional portrait. However, studio backgrounds are sometimes expensive and unsuited for that photographer on a price range. Any beginning or highly developed photographer makes professional-looking backgrounds inside your home using materials available at the local craft shop and diy store.

Instructions

Select the blank wall, preferably with an interior room or a person with heavy drapes across the windows. A dark room offers more control over the particular portrait lighting.

Paint having a neutral base color, including white, gray or beige.

Sponge paint with 1-2 other muted colors, when desired.

Slide your roll of background paper onto the additional end of the tubing, then insert the it in to the second clamp.

Pull off enough paper to the wall and carpet around your subject. Ensure the paper creates a smooth arc amongst the wall and floor.

Smooth the paper without any wrinkles.
