How to Generate a Digital Spyrograph

Remember Spyrograph? As soon as you spent hours with coloration pens and white paper to create geometric masterpieces to remember to your parents and pals? Now you can make them instantly with GIMP. Although I haven't certainly decided yet whether I favor this or not, because I still believe it is more fun to get white paper as well as color pens and relocate the gears manually. Maybe it's because I really have zero skill in this area--or might be because I'm old fabricated.
