Hand made Photo Soft Box

A softbox can be used in photography to diffuse dark areas when taking flash snapshot. In studio and patio settings, using the camera's flash may make very dark, distinct shadows that detract from the picture's article. While a softbox doesn't completely take away the flash-created shadow, it does allow it to become far less noticeable. Purchased at a photography store, softboxes can cost many hundreds dollars despite their simple and easy construction. Amateur photographers can easily make the softbox using only quite a few materials that can be bought at any craft store.

Instructions

Map out your system of your softbox around the Bristol board. Start within the center and draw the rectangle that measures 15x10 centimeters. From the biggest market of each side, draw any 15-centimeter line outwards. Cap off each facing outward line with another line parallel sideways of the rectangle (5 centimeters relating to the rectangle's narrow ends and 8 centimeters relating to the long ends). Connect the end of all the shorter lines to the corners with the rectangle creating a 4-pointed celebrity. Draw an additional rectangle onto the conclusion of each point (2 centimeters wide) and over the sides of the bigger points. Don't erase from any of the lines you've drawn.

Cut out there the softbox body. With the center rectangle draw a fabulous slightly smaller rectangle with the help of rounded corners. Cut away the smaller rectangle in order that the center of the softbox person is empty.

Glue the Velcro strips to your edges of the softbox shape. The Velcro should be affixed with the rectangles that were tempted onto the outer edges for the wide points. Once the Velcro is attached with the wide points in the body, turn it over plus attach the Velcro to your edges of the modest points.

Turn your template back over and also glue the silk sheet it is in place over the opening in the heart of the softbox body. Make perfectly sure that the opening in completely covered and this the silk sheet is firmly stuck into position.

Fold the softbox body under the lines that you received earlier. The only lines that aren't folded will be the 15-centimeter lines that extend outward with the center rectangle (they were needed for measurement only). The points should all attach to each other along their edges, but not meet afterwards (this is where the particular flash will go). The structure should resemble an old time television or computer keep tabs on.
