An ISO setting for a digital camera refers to your light sensitivity of all the camera's sensor. The ISO numbers of digital cameras are defined by way of the International Organization for Standardization inside specification ISO 12232: 1998. Before video cameras were invented, ISO called the light sensitivity with film.

Higher ISO settings tend to be sensitive to light, to be able to take pictures in low-lit locations. However, increasing the ISO setting also degrades human eye the picture, usually defining it as grainy or adding "noise. "

Levels

A natural ISO level is 100. Some unwanted cameras always use an ISO for 100, but other cameras can help you change the level or simply automatically adjust the level according to the available lighting.

For most beneficial results, use the best value ISO level possible. Having said that, increasing the ISO level will help you take better pictures, especially in dark settings like churches, ceremonies or indoor sports. Increasing the ISO level might also work well in locations that never let flash photography.
