ISO sensitivity describes the sensitivity of the image sensor for the digital camera. High ISO sensitivity will allow you to take pictures in small light. However, high ISO sensitivity also can cause noise, or graininess, inside photograph.

Basics

    ISO originally called a camera film's understanding to light. In video cameras, ISO stands for ISO 12232: 1998 requirements, a noise ratio and additionally brightness standard set by your International Organization for Standardization.

Default ISO
