How to Image Buildings Inside & Out

Learning to help you photograph buildings is the best way to understand light, composition and also timing. Both indoor as well as outdoor photography require setting up and experimentation, but following certain guidelines can make it easier to get flattering pictures for the insides and outsides with buildings.

Scout the within the building to find exciting or significant subjects to help photograph. Mount the camera at a tripod after you found a good quality vantage point and set the camera in handbook mode.

Take a lot of shots with different settings if you do not reach a satisfactory direct exposure. Often photographers will be successful when using window lightweight to illuminate their compositions. Overexpose your image towards let more window light towards the scene.
